Before the foundation of the world, God loved me.
He created me and desires my heart. He made me to gaze upon His beauty, the beauty of unconditional love exposed on a tree. This magnificent God, that I can not ever comprehend has created such an intricate universe for me to woo my heart, like a man giving flowers to a woman. And this Holy God became humble and took on EVERY single sin so that I may be with him forever.

“Or do you not suppose it is no purpose that the Scripture says, ‘He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us?’ ”    (James 4:5)

1. “Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls, all your breakers and waves have gone over me.” (Psalm 42:7). Deep calls unto deep? The depth of God’s love cries out for the depth in us. Compared to God, we are infinitely small and shallow. But God, through Jesus (the manefestation of His love), has poured out and covered us in His blood. And HIS BLOOD has MUCH DEPTH. It conquered the grave! If that blood can save a soul from HELL, it MUST be deep, it must be unfathomable. Imagine that blood covering us. So, the depth of God’s love calls unto and yearns for the blood we are covered in.  Even in the very beginning in Genesis 4, God reveals the importance of blood. Verse 10: “And the LORD said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.” This was in the OLD testament, this was the blood of a human, the blood was of a dead man, it was on the ground. And STILL that blood was crying out, God heard that blood. If that blood cried out, imagine how much the blood of a perfect God,  is crying out for redemption!

Now, Back to the original verse, now that “deep calling to deep” has been briefly explained.

2. “He yearns jealously over the spirit He has made to dwell in us.” God, the creator of the UNIVERSE, has made for us His spirit so we may live in constant communion with Him. He loves us that much! Not only did He make us, not only did He die for us, but He is so gracious to give sinful, compromising, simplistic, and often foolish humans HIS SPIRIT. We need to really ask God for this revelation. I think we grieve God’s heart with our complacent attitude towards Holy Spirit, whom IS a man. Its not an extra gimmick that comes with Christianity! The Spirit of GOD dwelling in me?! So, being filled with the extravagant Holy Spirit, God’s depth and spirit is yearning and calling out unto the Spirit He has placed in us. This is proof that we can not take it for granted. GOD of the universe is yearningjealously for what He has placed in us. He desires to move in our hearts, so jealously, that when he is invited to come and consume our hearts, He starts removing our other lovers. He starts removing addictions, he starts burning out depression that we hold unto, he starts trashing the immorality we place high in our hearts. He starts removing the stars and idols we stare at, when we think we are looking at Him. He is so jealous like a husband who will show all of his love and affections towards his wife so that she won’t ever fall out of love. He is so jealous that even His EYES burn. The God of the universe, who created atoms, cells, and planets, burns with such intensity for us, that He ETERNALLY intercedes for our hearts.

I think it is vital that we cry out for hunger.

I found this in someone else’s blog

I’m frustrated with a loved one’s choices.” God the Father has been there. Really. I should talk with Him.

I have a crush on someone. Someone who isn’t sure if I exist.” Jesus has been there too. Really. I should talk with Him.

There’s a group of people that I wish I was more involved with… If only they wanted me around.” The Holy Spirit knows that feeling. Really. I should talk with Him.

Satan counterfeits things that God creates. The baggage that “pms” carries must be a counterfeit because God creates good things. So what beauty did God originally intend a period to carry? That it reveals emotions and that the blood spiritually signifies something? Maybe it is a spiritual cleansing of bad emotions just as our blood physically cleanses us. Just as Jesus’ blood on the cross cleansed the temple in heaven, our blood cleanses our physical “temple.” Maybe it occurs every month just as we were once required to sacrifice blood on a regular basis in the old testament for cleansing.

Temple?

We are a temple, and Jesus went into the most intimate place spiritually and tore the veil between us and Him and bled, bled, bled. And in our intimacy with God there is fruit. Whether it be souls, fruits of the spirit, or overflowing love for Him..

This is clearly illustrated in a consummation of marriage. The husband goes into the innermost temple and tears the veil. When the veil is torn their is bloodshed. And in this physical intimacy, there is fruit- children.

I found this in my notebook:

The reason why we struggle with love is because it is the reason why we were created and is why we do not die as soon as we sin. If Satan can remove and prevent revelation of God’s love, then he can literally steal our eternity. There must be something so significant about love if it is what the GOD of the universe only wants from us.

THE GOD AND CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE WANTS ONE THING FROM ME – LOVE!

It must be that strong, strong as death. There must be things we do not know, endless things, eternal revelation..What else can leave us speechless besides an encounter with God? GOD is ravished by my weak love?! Who am I, that a HOLY, indescribably GOD would listen to me? If this loving God made me, then why do I not allow Him to work my heart and massage it? God is waiting in the secret for me? GOD WAITS? FOR ME? He does not need to, yet He chooses to. He waits on millions of sinning, seemingly insignificant humans eternally.

God prepare my heart for face to face encounter. Prepare my temple for full habitation. Take the garbage out, so that sin may not separate me from you. Prepare my eyes that I may see you in your glory. amen

…they can’t see me.

Is there more to pride than I know? God goes too deep. If I do not go nearly as deep as God and do not fully love like he does, than how can i rightfully judge what pride is and is not?

By not praying, is that not pride? Even though in my heart I want to and am just fighting flesh?

Humility goes deep for a reason…

God dying for love was so humble, He could not have been more humble; could not have gone any lower. Would this mean that pride is more prevalent than we think it is? If there is man-pleasing or idolatry, is that not rooted in pride? If we are not constantly loving unconditionally, are we in pride? We can’t be lukewarm– we are either one. There is no “kind-of humble..” There is no room for neutrality when we begin to understand the cross. Or when we see the battle raging in the supernatural realm for souls.

HUMILITY:

A picture of God hanging on a cross (He IS God, he could have picked another route).

Unconditional Love.

God pleasing actions.

Exposed heart.

Living wholeheartedly.

LUKEWARM:

Not obnoxiously selfish or proud, but not always loving. Sort of like BLENDING IN (GOD did not BLEND IN).

PRIDE:

Man pleasing.

Idolatry.

Pushing God aside (This is a sneaky thing).

Social cliques.

Following our own strategies (Also tricky!)

Compromising. “I don’t have to give that much in my relationship with God…”

Talking about others.

Anger. Frustration. Worry.

There is no man-pleasing in the army of the Lord. If God is going to RAISE up an army, He must bring us low first. Its the upside down kingdom.

Where to begin, Oh where to begin. I came across an intriguing blog and was inspired to start one.  I feel a tad ridiculous for thinking that I can maintain a blog since There are so many other things to be done – homework, work, praying, reading, cleaning, hair curling . .

And then there is the jealousy of God for my time and affections….

Anyways…!

In this next blogging season of my life, I will try to do outrageous things, so I have tasteful topics to write about. Yes, Tasteful Topics.
